Mr. Jacob has 25 years of experience in the motion picture exhibition industry. In his
current position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cineplex Inc. and its
subsidiaries, Mr. Jacob leads Canada’s largest motion picture exhibition company. Prior to his current role, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Entertainment Inc., which he co-founded in 1999. Before founding Galaxy, Mr. Jacob represented Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. as Head of Integration. From 1987 to 1998, Mr. Jacob held various positions with Cineplex Odeon Corporation culminating in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Michael’s association with Canadian Tire dates back to 2001, where his contributions and leadership have been particularly notable in key roles and
